Why Wellness?

Repeated studies support the relationship between modifiable health risk factors and resulting injury or death, suggesting that as much as seventy-five percent of all illness and premature death in the U.S. could be avoided or made less severe through prevention efforts.

Poor diet, lack of physical activity, obesity, tobacco use and proper management of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure can be controlled by individuals who take personal responsibility for maintatining their health and wellness.

Well Advised programs and services provide eligible participants with information regarding health conditions, resources that outline healthy practices and opportunities to identify and address personal health risk factors. Our goal is to assist individuals in making informed decisions and choices that lead to a healthy lifestyle.
